TENNIS BALLS?

GREETINGS FROM SOUTH AFRICA!
TOBY here...

Hello there fur-buddies!

Maxmom has been so busy lately that I've left her with her work and have come to ask you guys a question.

You see, I was strolling around the garden - looking for something to do.  This place can be boring sometimes!  Guess what I found?...take a look:

TENNIS BALLS!
Beautiful big tennis balls...and LOTS of them!!!

GROWING ON THE TREE?!

I couldn't believe my luck...mmm...for a while.

They smell different!
And they taste different too!
Most frustrating!
I decided to chew up the tree instead.

KING TOFFEE wasn't in the least bit interested...

AUNT TAM' watched gracefully from a distance.
Wisdom just drips off her.

Me? I chose a stick instead.  Much tastier!

So tell me....

ARE ALL TENNIS BALLS THE SAME?
Just asking.

Sending lotsalicks

LOL - we've got a "tennis ball" tree too. We've been thanking our lucky stars the boys haven't decided to help themselves!

Awwww, Toby does the same thing Daisy does. She likes peaches so much we have to watch her or she'll pick them. At least he is trying to entertain himself, although, that can lead to really big adventures!!!

Shiver is full of the jellies about that tennis ball tree! He's just obsessed with tennis balls!!!

I asked him if they're all the same and he says no, some are much more special than others. He likes the mini ones best.

Toby
I think that "tennis ball tree" is
trying to deceive you into thinking those tennis balls can be played with,,,and tossed into the air, and chased after,, and chewed on.
but don't do it! you might turn into a pumpkin!
It's a trick.. I say,,, a trick

This reminds me of a post I wrote last Fall when the kiwis I eat for breakfast kept vanishing. I couldn't figure it out. Three right in a row. Finally, just as I was about to leave for work I discovered that Duncan had been taking them and had piled them up next to his tennis balls. It was very funny and took some explaining but he finally figured it out.

Our momma wishes that tennis balls just like yours were on the trees at our house! She would ♥ to use them in pies and in her tea and dribbled on broiled fish. You are so furry fortunate! You need to ask your momma to toss one around for you sometime - your breath would be all fresh and delicious!

Every time our momma sees Aunt Tam her ♥ gets all warm and fuzzy. Momma just l♥ves senior dogs and cats and people - they have so much to teach us about life.
