GREETINGS FROM SOUTH AFRICA!
MAXMOM here.
It's been one week today since Toby's initial 'operation'. He's had two surgeries in the past seven days (as a result of complications and infection post his neutering), but he's very much on the mend now. An extended course of antibiotics should do the trick for his home-run. Hopefully by Saturday we'll be able to start removing the collar (under supervision). His stitches should be out this time next week too. Then I can finally relax. I get very worked up when it comes to my animals.
"Here Maxmom... take a look... if you have to. (sigh)"
But, my sweet Hooligan is now finally back to his boisterous self (almost) - romping down the passage and accosting poor Aunt Tam with his new contraption - his 'scoop' (aka collar). King Toffee steers clear of him:Now on to some special news of the day:

Great news about Toby's recovery! :)
Good morning, Caryl! Love your mug collection! You have a beautiful yard and pool - great to see a pure white rose blooming. Glad, most of all, that Toby is doing well.
Hugs and blessings, Beth
Hi Maxmom, glad that Toby is recovering well and that he's discovered new uses for his cone. Great reviews too. Nice mugs, coffee?
So glad Toby is on the mend!! We read Bertie's interview of Gail last night. It was a great review!

Hi Toby
Great to hear that you're on the mend and have been creative with the cone thingy!
Oh but I so totally agree with your comment on my blog. Bring on 'Tobymom'!
At least it appears you have your own mug, so that's a start.
Toodle pip!
Bertie
PS I did enjoy discussing the book with Gail, and can't wait for Tobymom to write one about you, in which I hope to feature.
Great to hear Toby is on the mend. From the repairs to the cone I assume he's been charging into doors and trees !
It sounds like you're having a bit of fun with the evil lampshade, Toby! I'm glad to hear that the healing is coming along.
Love ya lots,
Mitch
Hi Maxmom, we're glad to hear Toby is recovering nicely. We have had some refreshing rain too after lots of hot and humid weather. Mum does love your mugs. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

I knew Toby would find a way to enjoy the cone. Our pack has always done the same and I find those pencil sized bruises across the backs of my legs.
I love the clean look after a nice rain.
