A GIFT TO MYSELF: BUMPER PICTURE POST!

GREETINGS FROM A SUNNY SOUTH AFRICA!
MAXMOM here...

Hello there to all my friends across the world.
I am just so excited today because...
I bought myself an early Christmas present.
Can you guess what it is?

If you are still wondering what it is, let me throw some light:
It's a BRAND NEW CAMERA!
(THE NIKON D3100)

Hopefully I will soon be able to offer you a deeper insight into this beautiful doggie of mine.
For example: Toby recently 'hurt' himself whilst chewing on something...check out the small 'pink' scar on his snout:
Perhaps his endearing habits will now be showcased better:
Like when he is obediently trying to hold very still while I get the photograph.
What a good boy!  He might be looking 'miffed', but it was a momentory little incident:

I have been taking hundreds of photos.  Here are a few more:

(Above: Tammy's beautiful eyes...the wisdom of an old lady!)

In the new year, I'll be attending some training courses, so I can make full use of this new camera, but for the moment I/we are simply playing around with it.
(Toby cuddles up after a swim.  Like "Maxdog" did, he too INSISTS on using the smallest bed in the house!)

The spirit of Christmas is starting to infiltrate our own household as we roll towards Christmas Day.

My wish to you this Christmas season is this:

I pray that you may be surrounded in peace and goodwill, that you will be blessed with all the joys of Christmas, including the warmth of family and loved ones.  May you receive abundant prevailing love amidst the knowledge that there are folk in cyberspace who
 REALLY DO CARE!!!
Sending lotsaluv to you all with all my best wishes for an awesome festive season.

Wow! That is one nice camera - I use a Nikon, but not one like that one's capabilities - Santa was nice to you and look at all those gorgeous pix! LOVE that one of Toby all curled up into that tiny, teensie place - so cute!

Mum and I always enjoy seeing your pictures of Toby, so it sounds like you got the perfect Christmas present for you to share his antics with us. He is changing so fast, and I'm sure his ears and parts of his coat are getting darker.

Merry Christmas to you all.
Love,
Riley

My camera isn't working and the pictures were of very poor quality. Can I have your old one? LOL, just kidding!

Congrats on the new camera. Looking forward to lots more pictures of your beautiful dogs.

What beautiful pictures your new camera takes or it could just be Toby!!
Merry Christmas! I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday.
Your weather looks beautiful. It is snowing today, but just about 3 inches, but maybe a big Northeaster (snowstorm) this weekend! If you live in New England, you have to LOVE snow storms, if you don't, you move!

When I see Toby looking at me on your blog I see a young Maxdog. It is remarkable how much Toby looks like Maxdog!

I'm jealous of your new camera. Hmmm, my little biz did well this year - maybe I owe myself a treat. The only thing stopping me is the fact that I have been squirreling away every spare dime and nickel for my journey to SA. Guess I'll have to live with the one I already have...sigh.
