MAXDOG on KINDLE! ...and SNOW!

GREETINGS FROM SOUTH AFRICA!
MAXMOM here...

Hello there everyone from a freezing Johannesburg, South Africa.  The past couple of days have seen unprecedented weather in our country; for the first time in recorded history, most of the provinces in South Africa have experienced snowfall at the same time.

Yesterday we had a light dusting here in Johannesburg where we live, but in other parts of the country, people and vehicles have been snowed in.  Mountain passes have been closed, etc, etc.  Brrrr...!

Toby was really funny when he experience his first snowflakes:

Some of our country has been really hard hit with the snow and a number of 'funny' photos have been circulating via Facebook. I thought this one was quite funny although I am sure it was photoshopped.

Now for the REALLY BIG NEWS!!!!

It is with great delight that I announce (finally) the availability of my book -
 'MAXDOG' - on Amazon 'Kindle'.
You can download your copy now!!!

Amazon (USA) click HERE
Amazon (UK) click HERE

May I take the opportunity of saying a sincere "Thank you" to Peter Marshall  from
for the many hours he spent perfecting the manuscript for the Kindle specifications.  Without Peter's assistance, this book would not have been available.
Thank you, Peter!!!

In celebration of this event, here is another 'Extract from Maxdog'.
(Please excuse the quality of these 'photos')
Besides that....enjoy.

Please could I ask you -my faithful readers - to spread the word about the availability of MAXDOG in this NEW DIGITAL FORMAT!!!

The other news is that TOBY now has his own Facebook page.
Please come and visit: CLICK HERE
Sending lotsaluv

Well done for getting MaxDog on Kindle. When it comes to new technology, I am the classic "slow-adopter" and so have not yet bought an e-reader, but I'm sure its only a matter of time.

I do hope those giraffes are photoshopped! Interesting to see Toby's reaction to the snow. Bertie goes even more hyoer than he usually is when we have snow, and even staid old Hamish would get excited too!

Cheers,
Gail (still glued to the Olympics - yes we were thrilled that Andy Murray won!)

What a wonderful gentleman Peter Marshall is to help get this going for you!!

Your snow is sooo exciting,, especially knowing that your spring is not far off right,,,, maybe this snow storm is saying goodbye to winter.
I am glad you did not get trapped in the snow,, but can enjoy it.

MAXMOM....
We were snowed in several years ago. It just kept falling from our skies!! This lasted days and days!! Weeks!! Snowdrifts developed. Our groceries even ran out.... Despite being prepared!! Dad was forced to stay home from work. Our mail and newspaper stopped their service. It was as though life reached a standstill!! And, this was actually my first White Christmas!! Incredibly magical!! It was fun, but, toward the end, everybody developed Cabin Fever!! Especially my Dad!! ;op
Love, Raelyn.... And Rose, my BEAUTIFULLY UNIQUE "Mystery Dog"!!

That is great news about Maxdog now being on Kindle!

Can you send some of your cold weather here as my male human can't wait to find some good snow. He has to drive four hours (to the centre of the North Island of NZ) before he can put big feet on and attach sticks to his feet. Also there is a volcano that has just errupted 20km away from his favourite skifield, but luckily the ash has been blown to the East!).

Love and woofs,
Riley

Congratulations on Kindle! That is pawsome and I will be glad to mention it on my blog. Mommy just finished your book and she loved it sooooooo much. I am happy now that even more people will be able to read it. How cool that you have snow, its pretty hot over here in Michigan, USA. Thinking about snow makes me feel a little less hot.

Hi Maxmom, oh that so "cool", you're getting snow in South Africa. We think that it's great that MAXDOG is on Kindle - wider distribution is always good. Okay, next step - try to get MAXDOG on Audible so that people can listen to your book on portable machines like Smartphones. Here's a link to Audible http://www.audible.com/anon-home/1402858021/ref=sign-in_tnv_t6_0_1?ie=UTF8&pf_rd_r=1KNMECJS2QMBWE18XBT7&pf_rd_m=A2ZO8JX97D5MN9&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_i=14411&pf_rd_p=1287317942&pf_rd_s=top-2
