CALLING..."AMANDA LIM"!!!...THANK YOU!

GREETINGS FROM SOUTH AFRICA!!!
MAXMOM here...

Dear friends...
I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP...

As you can see, this is what I received in the post last night and I am not sure where to begin....

Perhaps I should explain that this is a miniature portrait of my dear, beloved
MAXDOG
18 March 2000 - 24 May 2010.
Most of you will know Maxdog from his blog...

I can't begin to tell you how touched I am with this little painting.
It is absolutely beautiful!!!
...and so lifelike...and so true to his sweet nature.
I am so, so thankful!!!

The little painting is about 13cm square...hardly bigger than a coffee mug...

It really is exquisite!
But here's my problem...

At this point, I have no idea who "AMANDA LIM" is...???
I have searched my emails and looked through the comments section of some of Maxdog's posts, but I can't identify who she is.
She is obviously one of my wonderful blogging friends, but perhaps I only know her by her blog's name....???

So Please, if you are Amanda, would you identify yourself.
I really want to say:...

"Dear Amanda...
Thank you so, so much for this beautiful portrait of my dear Maxdog!!!
I am so touched by your generosity and care as I pine deeply for him every day.
Thank you for taking the time to commission this amazing painting and for thinking of me.
I can't begin to tell you how beautiful it is...
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!!
With grateful appreciation,
Caryl"
The artist of this beautiful portrait
has done an incredible job!
The detail in the picture is extraordinary too!
She has even included the dates of Max's life on his bandanna...
So, thank you also to Suzie for your amazing talent!!!

...and TAMMY-GIRL says 'thank you' too!

So Amanda....
I am really sorry I don't recognise who you are...!...
PLEASE!!!!...
make contact with me...

Sending lotsaluv to you all

Leave it to Khyra to know - she is such a social butterfly! From now on if there is a doggie bloggie mystery we are running right over to Khyra's place to ask!

BTW, that portrait is exquisite. Isn't it amazing what can be done with true talent - none of which our momma has when it comes to painting, unless it is a wall!

Dearest MaxMom,
We have been seriously MIA here - we've missed sooooo much, but hope to catch up! What a beautiful little painting of Max - wow - what a lovely, mysterious surprise to receive in the mail! It's just so lovely. I hope the artist identifies herself soon and unravels the puzzle!

That is wonderful, truly touching. I love Max's expression and sweetness in the painting.

I'm sure that Amanda will let you know who she is... it sounds like you have some clues from others.

I run into similar problems because I use a different name for blogging than anything else. I met a person on the trails today who said "Are you KB?". I almost said no because no one calls me that in person!

It's always a guarantee that Khyra knows!

That is a wonderful portrait, and a beautiful tribute to Max! After Treat passed away I was given a really thoughtful gift by someone I only knew online, and was really just the perfect thing at the perfect time, and it was more about the gesture than anything else. I hope that one day I will be able to repay that gift in a similar fashion.

The portrait is a little gem, a treasure And because of it's tiny size, all the more fascinating! Something very precious and special, to be sure. Something to cherish a lifetime, It really does capture Maxdog's charm and sense of joy, doesn't it.
