DREAMING OF GOLDEN MOMENTS...

GREETINGS FROM SOUTH AFRICA!!!
MAXMOM here...mmmm...
Hello there dear friends...

Firstly, I would like to say 'thank you' to all my blogging friends (especially Khyra) for helping me track down "Amanda" - the wonderful mom of Cody, Roy, Lady and Zena who writes their blog:

and who sent me that gorgeous, gorgeous portrait of Maxdog!
Through your help I was able to say a special thank you to her again!
I am very grateful for your help...the blogging community is truly amazing!

---xXx---

Now for this blogpost...

I am so excited at the moment although I know that I mustn't become TOO excited yet!

You see...

In the early hours of this morning, 7 dear little Golden Retriever puppies were born...
(3 males and 4 females)
"Mommy Golden" and her puppies are doing well and perhaps I'll get to peek at them sometime this weekend!?!

If all goes well, one of them will eventually become mine!
...probably a female.

The exciting part is that these special little pups are within Maxdog's geneology:
Their Great-Grandmother is Maxdog's mom!!!

Please keep us in your peripheral prayers that the right little pup eventually finds its way to us.

So...
This weekend, I am dreaming of a Golden puppy to call my very own,
A pup to become a companion to Tammy, Toffee and Toffee.
One that will receive a life filled with health, happiness, good nutrition, good socialisation, good training as well as the opportunity to simply be a dog...

It's going to be a long wait, but it will eventually be worth it.
What do you think, Tammy and Toffee?

Sending lotsaluv to you all
and have a wonderful weekend too!

To me, there's nothing like a new puppy to remind us of the circle of life--In this case, the circle would really be complete!

That is such great news. Max is looking down and nodding his approval.
Your heart will pick out the right puppy and you can be sure that Max is using his paw to push her your way.

Oh we are so hoping that all goes well and life's circle spins round again to balance earlier pain with new pleasures.
Would it be very selfish also to be looking forward, possibly, to a new blog too?
Lots of love,
Gail and Bertie.

How exciting - it reminds me of 2008 when Neeli was born - I met her "mom Echo" and "dad Bob", then saw the pups at 4 weeks, 6 weeks, 7 weeks and then made the big decision to bring "greenie" home! It's been so much fun (and hard work) - but she's our beloved little Neeli.

It's wonderful that Max's bloodlines will be in your new pup's genes too! Enjoy watching them grow & may you find the right one to fill your lives with love & joy!

Karyl, I am so pleased for you. There is nothing that eases the heartache of loosing an old dog like puppy breath. Max must be looking on from the Rainbow Bridge with approval.

That’s such great news. My mum understands how having a puppy that shares some of the same ancestors can mean so much. Loving (and missing) her first Goldie (a rescue dog that was 2 ½ when she got him) was how we got together, and like you my human mum to wait for me. At first she was told the breeder of her first dog had retired from breeding dogs four years earlier, so mum started looking for other breeders, but then she heard that the breeder that she wanted was going to have one last litter, so mum had to wait and wait and then wait some more for me to even exist. Then, as I was from a small litter (I only had one sister and two brothers) mum let the breeder choose which puppy went where.

What was meant to be was meant to be. I met my new family exactly six months after their first dog crossed the rainbow bridge, and share some his ancestors even though I was born almost 15 years later. That connection between dogs was so comforting for my mum in the beginning, and was how I got to live with my new family. However I look very different, and am my own dog with my own crazy ways!

The above long comment is why we are both so excited to hear your news, because we know how special it is to have a dog that is related. We have our paws and fingers crossed as Max is guiding you (through being in your life) to find your next wonderful puppy.

Love
Riley

Congrats on the new arrival - why, I could hardly tell you were expecting☺

There is nothing better to warm the heart and soothe the soul than a healthy dose of puppy breath and a little pee-pee on the floor!

And like the little pine cone as it falls from the tree and spreads it seeds into the soil,,,,,,
the legacy continues just as the legacy of Max is continuing in all these puppys.
There is a special little one in the group waiting to be chosen.
You will feel like you are being led to the special one.
I wonder what she looks like.
I wonder what she dreams about.
Please show us when you can

A puppy? I hope it is a sweet little pup and not an annoying biting demon like stupid PeeWee was. I will keep my thoughts with you. Let me know if you need me to come over once the wee beast arrives to help out with the babysitting.
