MOLLY AND HER GOLDEN PUPS...IN ALL THEIR GLORY!

GREETINGS FROM SOUTH AFRICA!!!
MAXMOM here...
Here they are...
Seven beautiful Golden puppies!
They were born in the early hours of yesterday morning...
Aren't they too sweet for words!

Oh yes, I nearly forgot...
Hello there to all my friends from across the world!

It's been great excitement this end...
We got to go and visit "Molly" and her brand new puppies!!
Isn't 'mommy' absolutely beautiful!?!

You might ask...
Who is Molly?
Well Molly is the Golden mother of these beautiful pups!
She is the Granddaughter of "Sherry" who is Maxdog's mother.
These dear little puppies therefore have a little something in them that sniffs of my own darling
"Maxdog"
Oh, they are so sweet!!!
All of them are well and sucking happily with their wonderful mother in attendance...
Molly came to greet us when we arrived and proceded to 'show' us her new brood.
She really is a beautifully natured Golden retriever and bowled me over with her facial expressions which reminded me so much of Maxdog...
I got a real lump in my throat when watching dear, beautiful Molly...
she is a fantastic Golden mother!!!
Whilst we were visiting, Zena (Maxdog's breeder) showed us a picture of one of Maxdog's own puppies - Indianna - who was a breed champion in her time.
Unfortunately Indianna crossed to the Rainbow bridge this year.
But her memory lives on...
Now...
this little pup (below) is 'Flannigan'...
the father of all these new puppies!
He's all grown up today and I should also be meeting him sometime in the weeks ahead.
But here he is - as a pup himself!...
As for Molly...
Looking after a healthy brood is hard work...
...but she cleans them and watches over them very carefully...
She is so sweet and allowed me to touch her puppies.
She loved the attention I gave her as well...

I just loved the next picture...
(sorry it's slightly out of focus.)
Whew!...they make such a sweet noise when they are suckling..
Their tummies are full and they are ALL happy!...
Congratulations on your beautiful puppies, Molly!!!
I am really looking forward to maybe choosing one soon!
Congratulations also go to Zena and Alan, the breeders of all these beautiful goldens at...
RUFFITWOOD GOLDEN RETRIEVERS

Thank you so much for allowing me to visit today.
Thanks to you all, I now have
GOLDEN FEVER!
The next 6-8 weeks are going to pass very slowly, I just know it!
Sending lotsaluv to you all...

They are adorable! Did you get a sense of which one to pick while you were there?? It seems like it will be a really hard decision....only picking one :)

Molly does look a lot like Max! A darker color, but she has the same ears, nose, and her eyes look a lot like him too. I love her little cowlick stripe on her nose!

I can hear them suckling and smell the puppy breath all the way to Michigan! I can't even begin to imagine how you felt when you saw those little 'sausage' babies. Won't it be fun to start an album of photos for your new baby beginning with the day after birth! Oooooo, you are SO lucky! Now I want a puppy but I have to be practical - not yet...sigh.

Isn't it wonderful to have something so exciting to look forward to after a loss? I remember after Treat passed away, how lost I felt, and then after we made the decision to visit the kennel, that thought was so exciting! Waiting two or three weeks for Bunny to go through her spay surgery and be ready to come home with us was almost too much for me! I'd go crazy in six to eight weeks! Here's hoping they pass quickly! I'm so happy for you!

The place called "world"
is mysterious to my ears.
It was so dark and silent
and now I hear soft "cooos."
I smelled a hand reach down
so softly
it touched my nose
the smell seemed familiar
and then it stroked my head
that touch felt so familiar
and now that gentle hand
as it softly rubs my ears...
i don't want it to stop.
I heard a whisper
i wonder what the words said
i heard a sighhh,,,,
the sighhh sounded familiar
i heard a heart beat
to the rhythm of mine
the beat was so familiar
i want to open my eyes
i want to see
i want to look into the eyes
of who is looking at me

What I have learned this year: That puppies grow very quickly! And of course that they are totally gorgeous at every stage (although I didn't get to see Bertie until he was 4 weeks old).
So looking forward (with fingers crossed) to seeing how this new story unfolds.
Cheers, Gail.

The puppies are beautiful! They remind us of when Eva was born and we had to take care of her. They are so cute when they're babies!!

We do hope you get one of Molly's puppies soon so Tammy and Toffee can have a puppy to play with!

Molly must be totally exhausted with all those little puppies wanting foodables from her all the time. She looks like she is being a good sport about it.

Molly is a beautiful Golden.. she has such soft, gentle eyes!! Her pups are all lovely.. can't get enough of their cute rounded bellies! In no time, those pups will grown into playful doggies! I love the pic of the suckling pup too.. how sweet!

It'd be really nice if you do end up bringing one (or two?? :P) of those pups home! How nice it is to have a part of Max again in your life... Tammy may like to have some company too!

We are so glad to hear of your "Golden Fever". We hope one of these litle dears can heal some pain and fill a little of the hole. I'm sure Max would want that, he loves you so.
Once again we have tears, but now they are tears of hope, of life renewed.
We purrs for you, for Molly and the pups.

What a beautiful doggie Molly is - your pictures remind me of when my Neeli was born and our visits to see her mom Echo & dad Bob and the "kids". The 8 weeks will go by quickly - and soon you'll be graced with the presence of a beautiful little puppy. Neeli and Apples send their licks & wags to Molly and her pups!
