EARLY RELEASE: MAXDOG'S CHRISTMAS TRIBUTE

GREETINGS FROM SOUTH AFRICA!!!

Hello there everyone...

I know this is VERY early, but there is no time like the present!

I have completed "Maxdog's" Christmas tribute video.  I was in two minds as to whether to wait until Christmas and then thought, oh well, why not now?

It is quite a long video (4:20) but for those who knew Maxdog, I am sure you will find it worthwhile.  Please may I ask that if you are going to watch it, that you allow it to download fully before viewing it and then also to allow yourself to view it in "full screen".

Please grab a cuppa, relax and reflect...

You may watch it either at the top of this page or...

Sending lotsaluv to you all...

Caryl, I can't tell you how much I enjoyed your video--So much that I watched it twice and Tammy and Max's obedience video popped up, so I watched that as well. Max was an amazing dog whose life touched so many of us. I know how much you continue to miss him and this touching tribute allows us to remember this wonderful Golden and Toby's part in it is a reminder of life continuing on.

We are very sure that this video has to be awesome. But we are having trouble with videos loading properly. It might take an hour for this to upload. We are going to try but we may have to wait until we figure out what is wrong and then come back to view it and enjoy.

Happy Howloween.

What a beautiful video! I only followed MaxDog for a short time, but his joy for life, even in his days of grace are very inspirational. I think you captured his spirit perfectly, and I know Toby will benefit from MaxDog's incredible spirit. Thank you for sharing!

What a wonderful tribute to both of your Golden boys; Max's journey completed and Toby's just beginning. We're sure Toby's first Christmas will be magical, blessed by the spirit of Max.

I love the video ~ it made me cry but in a sad/happy way. I laughed out loud when I saw Maxdog's head peeping over the table during a cooking session. And I love that at the end you show the sunset and know Maxdog is happy and waiting for you to eventually join him.
Toby is adorable ~ and he so helps heal broken hearts. Ours, as well as yours.

Thank you for sharing.

What a simply beautiful tribute. I loved watching it so much and dont mind admitting was full up and teary. How lovely to see Max dog evolve and grow to be his loving self. Now Toby comes to help mend hearts and is so like Max dog. I am sure he is watching over mentoring.. Beautiful thanks for showing us.. Hugs GJ xx

Hi Caryl,

What a lovely tribute to Maxdog and a great way to include Toby in it as well. I finally have your Living Life to the Max blog added to my home computer so I should be posting more. I just been reading it at work and keeping up on you guys. Hope all is well.

Dearest Maxdog Mom!

Beautiful and perfect are our two words to describe Maxdog's video. It's the first time we saw a video of Max when he was a pup. Piappies Mom wanted to pick him up as he pranced toward the pool and cuddle him!

We love seeing King Toffee with the Santa hat and Tammy coming out of her spa. Our favorite Max in stuffieland also brought a smile once again.

This Christmas may be a bit different for Maxdog will be watching from heaven as Toby will be celebrating his 1st Christmas with you. We thank Maxdog for the time we have become friends and for leading us to Toby as well. Most of all, we thank you for sharing your wonderful adventures with all of us. We also want to say that the music is really beautiful!

Boo! Trick or treat and a Magical Christmas in advance!

Love,
Piappies Fudgie, Princess, Frappie, Mocha, Sugar, Wai-Pai & Wai-Max

Beautiful video, what a fine tribute to Max and Bertie. So Max as cute as a puppy too!
And of course it made me reflect on the losses and gains of this year in my own household.
So looking forward to find out more about what the future holds for Toby!

This touched us so.
We know how much work you put into this, and it is a lasting tribute to Max. Some of the video loaded for us,, (we only have dial up)and it took us back in time,,, to the moments we shared with Max.
A very touching tribute, and we thank you for allowing us to see and enjoy these moments.

Oh Caryl
What a beautiful tribute to Max - my tears are flowing as I write this. And to intertwine little Toby's life into the video was just touching.

(I had to wait to get to work to view because of dial up service at home)

Thank you so very much for sharing.

I've been waiting and waiting until my internet was running fast enough that I could watch your video without "hiccups". It is truly wonderful. My eyes filled with tears... Seeing MaxDog as a young pup and then as the glorious grownup that he became warmed my heart. Any dog who gets you as their human is a very lucky dog indeed. I think that Maxdog knew it and Toby already knows it.
