MY BUNNY HOPPED - All the way from VIRGINIA, USA!

GREETINGS FROM SOUTH AFRICA!
TOBY here...
Hello there every-furry-buddy!

We're in the midst of school holidays here in Johannesburg, South Africa, so the rehearsals for my stage debut, as Sandy, in the musical production of
ANNIE,
are on hold, for the moment.
I'm taking the opportunity to swim and play with abandon!
We're back to work next week.

---xXx---

After my swim yesterday, I heard Maxmom say that a parcel had arrived.
For me?
Yes, can you believe it?
A parcel for ME!
All the way from Virginia in the USA, from our blogging buddies:
Bark Out Loud!

Thank you, so much!

Open it Maxmom! Quick!

IT'S A POGO PUSH BUNNY!

Wow, we don't get such things here in South Africa!
This soft bunny, is reinforced inside with some strong materials...
and it has a free floating squeaky toy inside...

They say; "It's Toby proof!"

Give it to me, Boss!

Stop teasing me!
Give it to me!

What is it with these humans?
The parcel was clearly addressed to me!

That's better!
I'll take it to my special spot - away from the thieves in this household!
Plush bunny and I had a peaceful night, but by this morning, it was sopping wet.  I'd been playing on the dewy grass with it.
The thief in the house took it off me again. She hung it up on the washing line - away from my paws.

WOOF! WOOF! WOOF! WOOF! WOOF!

Eventually Maxmom got the drift of my dissatisfacion and put my bunny in the sunshine - closer to me.

Okay, I'll sleep for a while...and wait...
But a dog's got to be on guard!
I mustn't sleep on the job.
Better still - I'll keep my snooter on MY bunny!

A dog can never be too careful!

---xXx---

Thank you again to...
 for this pawsome playtoy!

Sending lotsalicks, with canine gratitude,

Hello friends!! It's so good to sit and catch up on your news! I miss being able to stop by every day...But I'm glad that practice is going so well and you're getting a little break like the kids are!!

Mother Nature bringing you the colder weather and us warmer days once again reminds me of how far away you are, but how close you seem too.

Hi Toby
What a lovely toy. Wise move to keep it under close guard - you never know who else might want to get their paws on it.
Do have fun during you half term break. Are you missing Annie and her friends yet? I bet they're missing you.
Toodle pip!

Oh Boy Oh Boy! We are soooo glad you were able to receive your prize!!! The very nice people at Premier sent it all the way to you, but it sure had love and kisses from Massachusetts too!! :) Enjoy your new toy, but be careful, the bunny wasn't Jimmy proof!! But it is clear that you are much older and wiser and gentler with your toys... :) hehehe

Dear Toby, Love this bunny and will have to visit your kind friends who sent it and maybe get one for our family. This is for Carol-you won't believe this but a good friend of mind whose name is Avril Thompson used to live behind you in S.A. She taught swimming to Robin and Jenny and you taught aerobics. I directed her to your blog cause she is a dog lover and having lived in your neighborhood I thought somehow she might know you-never did guess that you'd have been neighbors. Her daughter Jacqueline was only 2 yrs old then.
She will be leaving you a comment soon and if you want I would be happy to share her email address with you-just email me.
Hugs today.
Love, Noreen & Reggie-dog

Just when I start thinking of him as a grown up you get a picture like the last one. Toby curled up so sweet with his new toy.

Lucky boy Toby. A bunny of your own to love and chew. What does his little face look like? No worries, love Carol.

Toby, you can never be too careful when the human-beans come 'round. They do things like put your belongings in baskets an' wash them an' - horrors - toss them into a bag that goes who-knows-where an' you never see them again, all because they had no eyes or noses or ears or insides anymore - just when they were gettin' 'just right'. You keep your eyes an' your snooter on that bunny of yours 'cause you never know what those human-beans will do. They can't be trusted around stuffies - they have some strange affection for them, especially when they get to be just the way we like 'em.

I found your blog on the Premier Pet Products Facebook page. It is so cute. I love the bunny. Is it still alive. My two labs love to kill and destroy. I'm afraid they would have already skinned it by now. They have had several of the Kong Wubbas and they tear the balls out of them. But they enjoy doing so immensely. Please let us know how it holds up. You can visit our blog if you would like, although it is not as cute as yours.
