GREETINGS FROM SOUTH AFRICA!
Dear friends.
Our hearts are heavy this morning as we watch the heartbreaking images from Japan's earthquake and the resulting Tsunamis.
To our friends in the Pacific rim, we convey our deep sorrow and horror at this terribly tragedy.
Despite planning to tell you about Toby's graduation yesterday, It is impossible to blog whilst knowing about the unfolding events. In solidarity, and out of respect for those who have perhaps lost loved ones during today's events, we would prefer to delay our own news.
May God protect you all.

We stand with you in solidarity.
Our #1 has been in touch as much as possible with her friends in Japan. As of now, it seems that everyone is OK but very badly shaken.
I woke this morning to the devastating news. As I sit and watch the destruction on my tv I too am filled with sadness. My heart hurts for all those people dealing with this terrible tragedy. My prayers are with each one.

As we watch the horrible news about Japan we are praying for them and all the world. The Philippines is very close to Japan and we are hoping that we would also be spared.
Please stay safe there too. There have been so many not so happy events.

My mum's heart sank when she heard the news, so she understands your decision to delay posting some things for a while.
After all the loss of life, injuries and damage 2-1/2 weeks ago in our own country (in the Christchurch earthquake) there is this - something so much bigger and worse. She is sending her thoughts to the people of Japan, and my paws are crossed for them too.
Woofs,

It is all so overwhelming, it is hard to know what to do, but I am thinking of all those people. It is unimaginable.
