TOBY PUPPY here...
Hello there to all my friends across the world...

Maxmom wants me to ask you all a really big favour today...

but first let me show you how I have to live in my new forever home...

"I" think I am a really good puppy!...
but there are so many rules!!!

I try really hard to learn all the new rules in my household and to be a good puppy,

but some of them are so difficult to understand!

For example...

*Why can't I chew up Maxmom's flower pots?

*Why can't I romp and play at 2am when its beautifully cool?

*Why can't I have more food?

*Why does "Aunt Tam" and "King Toffee" always come first?

*Why does Maxmom sometimes have to go out of the house and leave me here?

Rules! Rules! Rules!????

It's all so difficult to understand!

But there is one rule that I do understand:

and Maxmom says that it is the most important rule of all...

...especially when it comes to my bloggie-buddies!
So I am going to try and do this today by asking all my furry-friends a very special favour...

This morning Maxmom came across a new bloggie-buddy who has just had to say good-bye to a very special furry-friend, her little...

Maxmom says she doesn't know why, but she has been so  very touched by this news and she remembers the wonderful efforts of her blogging buddies and how they uplifted her during the time when
 went to the bridge.

Maxmom has asked me if you would please join her in giving some love to
by going to her blog
and leaving a comment

(When you are there, be sure to read the lovely tribute put up by...
amongst the comments)

My little doggie-heart just knows they will appreciate your thoughts!

Sending lotsaluv and lotsalicks to you all and
especially to

Hello there Toby,

As we've learned from Maxdog Mom, we need to always be positive so we think you are definitely doing wonderfully well in your furever home.

You are always able to be your very cute self.

You can run around and play with Aunt Tammy and King Toffee all the time.

You get to stay and nap away on the cool bathroom.

You got lots of yummy treats that come your way.

Most of all, Maxdog Mom gets your best shots all the time.

So don't worry so much about the rules, you'll get used to them eventually. Well at least we are trying to.

We dropped by to visit Missy and we have her in our thoughts and prayers. We are also praying for her hooman family.

Toby, Let me tell you a secret. Because you are such a cute puppy, you can get away with breaking some of those rules, rules, rules, just so long as you act very cute when you do it. Your mom might even laugh if you're cute about it.

We have been to visit with Missy's family and have left a note. Yes, the comment by Steve is especially poignant and touching. Saying good-bye to someone we love is so difficult, so difficult.

We will be very happy to do that for you, sweet Toby. We remember very well how much it meant to us when so many wonderful furiends stopped by to comfort us when we lost Dakota and then again when Phantom had his surgeries. We understand the heartache so well.

I've been gone for a few weeks, trying to move into a new home; I've missed you all and was moved by your Livestrong post...Toby is so adorable, growing quickly and I am impressed with his schooling as well!...Great photos of Toby and Tammy; they always look so happy together...Sorry to hear about Missy, it's so hard to say goodbye to our babies; I'm posting a special memorial post tomorrow (Oct. 7) about Nikki on her 26th birthday, my first baby...Hope all is well, sweet friend.

I have a lot of rules at my house too, Toby, only my boys don't always pay attention to them. They say rules are meant to be broken.

So sorry to hear about your friend's dog. I stopped by her blog and left her a message.

Now Toby, you know and I know that you love that crate!! You are a den animal, remember? One day, Mom will be wondering why do you love to sleep in there so much. All the dogs in the holler love their crates too.
Charlie would pout if I took his big den away.
We'll scoot over to the other blog now.
