MY FIRST TRAINING VIDEO

GREETINGS FROM SOUTH AFRICA!

TOBY PUP here...

Hello there to all my furry-buddies across our beautiful world!

Today is a special day, because I am exactly...

THIRTEEN WEEKS OLD!
I have grown so much during this time and have settled down nicely in my new home!

I love my "Maxmom"!

I adore my "Aunt Tam"!

and "King Toffee" is okay!

Every afternoon I go for a walk with my
 "Aunt Tam"...

"Aunt Tam'" shows me all the ropes...
like how to wait for my food...

And how to be VERY patient....

But most of all, it is my "Maxmom" who is teaching me.

Since this is a very special day, I want to show you my first

"TRAINING VIDEO"

of all the things I can already do.
I really hope you enjoy it!

(If you can't see the video nicely, please view in the 'header' above)

And if you don't wanna see my video, then I am giving you a pickie-chew of the beautiful
JACARANDA TREE
in our neighbourhood - which I saw on my walk...
Sending lotsalicks to you all,

Sweetest little one, you are getting so bright and smart! We just know that you will graduate from your studies with an A++!

Your tree is furry lovely. We would like to share with you that today we got snow! It didn't stick to the ground but it did come down from the sky. We wish you could come over to play in our snow when we get some to play in and to roll around in. This morning it was 2.5 degrees C. That is 35 degrees F. And we haven't even had winter yet!

We are all excited 'cause momma told us that the grandsons are coming over tomorrow for a sleepover! That means popcorn and left overs and hugs and cuddles and ball throwing and - well - maybe a bath but when they give us a bath it is all filled with fun and love.

Keep up your studies!

hey Toby,

Great training video! You are a quick learner and seem to be doing great! I think you sit and go down so pretty! And I admire your patience for food. Your Aunt Tam must be strict because when I see food I am all over it. No waiting for me!

Wow Toby! We are so very proud of you! You've learned so much and managed to still be as cute as ever!!! We sure would love to get some tips from you. Your "down" is just so adorable. Piappies Mom says she'd probably reward you with a bucket of treats for just command. She is really silly you see.

Keep up the great work, Toby.

Well done Toby – you are such a clever puppy as you have successfully trained your Mom into giving you extra food. I still use this skill on my mum, although she seems to have slipped a bit (as it takes more and more effort for me to get food treats from her these days). I do all the cute stuff, and run up to her, jump through hoops, shake paws, do downs and sits, really long stays and other tricks but then sometimes she doesn’t give me food – instead she just says lots of words to me. I think we will have to work on training your mom and re-training my mum to consistently respond to us by giving us extra yummy food. Don’t they know it is us training them, not the other way around!

I loved seeing you in your video, and noticed Toffee beside you doing what you were doing.

Sending lots of woofs to my little friend in South Africa,
Riley

Happy 13 weeks birthday to you, Mr. Toby!

Toffee doesn't get to go for a walk with you?

Your tree is beautiful! I don't think I've seen one like that around here.

I love your mom's accent.

Another beautiful super star in the making. Such a smart and focued boy. Part of the titles were cut off of your video, but I think one of them said that Golden Retrievers are a lifestyle. We couldn't agree more!!!

Well done, Master Toby! You are such a clever, gentle boy.

One of the fun things about the dogblog community is that it's like an instant trip around the world. You are starting a beautiful Spring, and we're hoping for a glorious Fall.
