CONGRATULATIONS MISS "R"

CHRISTMAS GREETINGS FROM SOUTH AFRICA!!!
TOBY here...

Hello there to all our friends across the world.
There are big celebrations in progress at our house at the moment!
I think that Christmas has come early this year!
Today Miss "R" received a letter with fabulous news:

MISS 'R' is part of the small group of students who have been selected to go to
in 2011

We want to shout out.....

HEARTIEST CONGRATULATIONS MISS "R"!!!

This truly is a wonderful accolade and well deserved!!!

For readers who don't know, Onderstepoort is the only facility in Africa which trains our prospective Vets. Each year only a selected few students make the cut and we are
absolutely thrilled for Miss "R"!!!

This has been her dream all her life and at last she has the opportunity to fulfill her dream.
We are all sending up a prayer of thanks for her wonderful results!
It's been two years of really hard studying at university and it has finally paid off!

We are so proud of our Miss "R".

Besides this wonderful news, I am pleased to report that the humans have finally put up our Christmas tree...it's looking great...believe me!
(although for some reason Maxmom has yet to get a decent picture...mmmph!)

She is in a highly festive mood though and I was required to put on my reindeer attire.

It's a bit scary though because it has flashy lights and all.   I am really not too sure of this!
But Maxmom's cakes are looking really good...

These cakes are earmarked as gifts for some of our friends

That's our wonderful news for the day!
CONGRATULATIONS MISS "R"
WE ARE SO, SO PROUD OF YOU!!!
You are going to eventually be a wonderful Vet for us furry-friends...
We promise to be your cheerleaders in the next 4 years (and beyond)

Sending lotsalicks to you all!

Congrats Miss R! Our Momma wanted to be a Vet too but she isn't so fond of blood, shots, surgery, sadness, and pretty much any of the stuff Vets have to do. She IS good at snuggles and scratches though so she had that going for her... Oh well, Congrats!

Congratulations to Miss R - awesome job and we are sure it only came with a lot of very hard work on her part and encouragement and support from her family. How wonderful to receive this news before Christmas!

CONGRATULATIONS, MISS "R"

Wonderfully exciting news! Later today I'm going to my parents house to help them decorate their tree. I don't think they'd bother with one if it weren't for me bugging them about it.

That cake is beautiful!!!

Hey Mrs. R, my name is John. I read a lot of blogs on religion and prayer and I've i feel like I've ended up here once before. I'd love to hear your thoughts about this prayer exchange website PrayerMarket.com I thought it was an interesting idea and would be curious to hear what you (or other Christians) think about it

I'll check back here in the next day or two, thanks & God bless

Dear Mr Wilson...

You asked for my opinion about "your" website.

With all due respect, I am not sure what your intentions are, but I cannot support something where faith and people's personal feelings are converted into a money making or a co-ersive enterpise. Perhaps your intensions are good, but I am not in favour of what I see.

Kind regards

'Maxmom'

Greetings, I have several friends that lived most of their lives in your town and they both told me that it is quite a honor that Miss R was accepted into the school. So congrat's all around! I love the look of the Christmas cake-so very festive and Toby looks wonderful with all the decorations. Have a joyous Christmas.

Those cakes look fabulous! Did you save a piece for me?☺

Congrats to your daughter on her acceptance to the veterinary school. Here in the US students need to complete 4 years of university and the go on to veterinary college for another 3 years and then an internship with a practicing vet for another year. By the time they graduate the poor young vets are up to their ears in debt!
