MAXMOM here...
Hello there everyone!
("Flat Angel Maxdog" with some Spring flowers! The Gerbera's are rife at the moment!)

It's been a rather busy week, so I'm sorry that I've not got around to many of your blogs. In the end, I am sure it will be worth it, because I have only 4 more chapters to go with Maxdog's book.  It's really exciting, but probably far off from potential publication.  The point is that I want it completed by the time TOBY arrives, because I know that my full focus is going to be with him at that point.
TOBY's arrival is about 10 days away!

It is Spring here! Awesome Spring!
The various shades of green in our neighbourhood are most uplifting and there is a general sense of "newness" in the air. I just love this time of the year!

TOBY's pending arrival brings new excitement too. I'll tell you a secret...
He already has a scrapbook!!!
He must be the only pup in the world that has had a scrapbook made for him....
BEFORE he even enterred the door of his forever home!

But before I share their pages with you...take a look at some of our "Spring scenery":

(Okay! Okay! KING TOFFEE...I will include a picture of you too!)

(TAMMY-GIRL, me and ASTA - Guide dog puppy. Tammy wasn't too sure of what was going on.  The little black labradork is very energetic at the moment!)

(The resident weaver bird has broken the record for the number of nests constructed
10 nests!...can you count them?)
Now for TOBY's scrapbook pages:

(Do you remember? ONE DAY OLD!)

Wow! How the time has flown!
He comes home when he is
and that is
SOON! Real soon!
(Can you see, I am smiling?!)
Sending lotsaluv to you all

Woof! Woof! Looking forward to your Max book. Not sure if you are aware we started a Book Review/Giveaway this year ... I've gotten lots of email interest from publisher so we decided to do it. Will be honored and delighted to be the first one to do a book review of Golden MaxDog book. Let us know.
Also, not sure if you remembered you inspired mom to pursue her book writing n plans to publish one book to commemorate my 10th birthday next year.
So Cute TOBY ... LOVE the scarpbook photos. Exciting!!!

Your little man's scrapbook is PURRecious! I don't believe there is any pup on earth who will be welcomed into his new home with so much love.

Those 10 days will fly by for you, I'm sure. You'd better take that time to enjoy walking in a straight line without a pup chasing your shoelace and dry floors and socks with no holes. Get prepared for smiling and puppy breath and playing and cuddling.

Toby is just the best springtime gift - EVER. BTW, those daisies have my literally drooling. They are my all time favorite. Please enjoy them for me...

Little Toby and your window on a Springtime full of newness, life and promise is exactly what I need this terrible day. It's good to remember during the chill and darkness of Autumn and Winter, there is also Springtime and the golden days of summer, co-existing on this big blue marble of ours.

Just 10 days???!!! To us it seems to have flown by, but we know it isn't the same for you, now to get by these few days, then joy, joy, joy.

Wow it is hard to believe he is almost there! Only 10 days - amazing! I remember waiting for the kittens to come home - it was so tough - I am sure it is just the same for you!

It is so amazing that you have gotten so far in your Max book already - and believe me when it publishes you already have a built in audience who would love to have it (my goal is to try and get a copy of the books of the blogs I visit so the Maxbook would for sure make that list!) And oh, the spring flowers are looking so great! And Tammy and Toffee look great too - and Asta is going to just love it once Toby is there to play with - two puppies = super fun!!

King Toffee looks like he doesn't know yet what is going to happen to his kingdom soon!

Your scrapbook pages are wonderful. The photos made me wonder what Toby's dad looks like. Is he a pale or dark golden and have you met him or seen a photo?

First of all, you have the most beautiful flowers there.
10 days to little Toby's homecoming. Squeal* That puppy would make any scrapbook look good but you did a really good job. One of my favorite pics is him by the water bowl.
Keep your head down and write, write, and write some more!! We're praying you get lots done. Love from all in the holler.

This is just the cutest thing EVER. 6 week old Golden puppies on video and your incredible scrapbook. I'm just speechless.

However, I had to tear-up a little when I first saw Max's image in this post.

Welcome Toby - this should be one fun ride for all of us.

Hi Caryl
I am now wondering what the dog psychologists would have to say about the 'Tubby Toby' tag!!! Is this the right start in life? I hope he is not going to start having issues with body image and food!!!
Somehow, I think he'll pull through OK.
Have fun!

Are you going to sell Max's book or just publish it for yourself? I wish I could buy a copy for myself.

That scrapbook for Toby is really turning out wonderfully! I can't believe he'll be home in just 10 more days. Time flies when you're having fun!

Oh my goodness - we are so similar. K already had a scrapbook before she came home. I can tell that Toby is going to be a very special dog for you. How did these 6 weeks fly by so very fast?

Thanks for your support during our recent crisis. It means the world to me. I think that it's over although the "officials" keep telling us all to remain ready to evacuate. It's hard to keep up such vigilance for so long!
